I Beg of You

“Is there anyone who can give something to this beggar? A whole heart? Is there anyone giving away a pure, whole heart?”

For a whole heart, I would give the life of this world: every moment of monotone emotion felt, every numb pleasure that kills my soul, every restless feeling that eats away inside.

For a whole heart, I would give away all my broken dreams, gathering each piece from it’s scattered place, blown in every direction by the winds of confusion and desire.

For a whole heart, I would give all of my bitter tears, shed from mistaken hurts and affected wrongs, or complexities that I myself constructed.

For a whole heart, I would give my own tongue that speaks ill instead of truth.

I would give my very eyes, that see the night sky in all it’s splendor, and that still choose slumber over vigil.

I would give my soul, troubled and heavy, always foolishly choosing darkness over Light.

But who would accept this currency or this exchange?

I’m just a poor beggar, with nothing to give. Instead, I depend on the compassion of the Owner to fulfill my needs, and be generous with me, though I have nothing to give Him in return; my worthless possessions clutched tight.

No Wing

A'udhu billah hi minassyaitan nir rajeem,
Bismillah hir Rahman nir Raheem,
La hawla wala quwwata illa billah hil aliyyil azeem

Imam Shafi had said "Knowledge is not what is memorized,it is what benefits". Maybe it is time for us to reflect what we are doing. Are we gaining more knowledge or are we merely wanting recognition through our learning. Are we like donkeys carrying books? Why burden yourself with information that you are not using? It is said act upon what you have known first, then you search more. O you who are slaves of 'learning',why do you want more yet fail to act upon what you already know? Learning might be an admirable trait, but how often have we acted on what we already know? Then why ask for more? You like the papers to be proof that you are knowledgeable ? How foolish we have become. We need pieces of paper to put value on us.
Look how far we have become.

Have you not traveled the vast earth and took lessons from what you saw?
Certainly you are not burdened more than what you can carry.
La yukallifullah hu nafsan illa wuss aha

O Donkey, the more books you carry, sooner you are going to break your back.
A lot of "knowledge" today are like air,and our heads are balloons. The more we fill it the bigger our heads get. And later it might just float away, leaving our body. useless. or worse EXPLODE.Thus we become majnun, "crazies". Helium would have been MUCH worse!

O Allah fill not our heads with useless knowledge, however "useful" it might seem to us.
O Allah,we are blind, please bless us with sight.
O Allah, we are deaf, please bless us with hearing.
O Allah,we are dumb, please bless us with Your invocations on our tongues.
O Allah,we are non sense, please bless us with reason.

O Allah, make us nothing, so You can fill us with everything.

Subhanaka la ‘ilma lana 'illa ma ‘allamtana 'innaka 'anta l-‘aleemu l-hakeem.
No knowledge have we other than what You have taught us, verily You are the only Knower and The Wise.

No mind people. That is what we have become. Astaghfirullah.

-Peace be to you-

I Will Stay

I will stay

I will never leave this house of light,
I will never leave this blessed town
for here I have found my love
and here I will stay for the rest of my life.
If this world turns into a sea of trouble
I will brave the waves and steer my mind's ship
to the safe shore of love.

If you are a seeker looking for profit go on
and may God be with you,
but I am not willing to exchange my truth,
I have found the heart and will never leave
this house of light.

Read in The Name

A'udhu billah hi minassyaitan nir rajeem,
Bismillah hir Rahman nir Raheem,
La hawla wala quwwata illa billah hil aliyyil azeem

Bismillah...
Iqra' Bismi Rabb bikal lazi khalaq.

Read in the Name of the Lord that has created you.
Whatever we read,it must be a reminder for us of our Lord. Therefore read in the Name of the Creator, and may it be beneficial for us.Insha Allah.
La hawla wala quwwata illa billah hil aliyyil azeem. Expect nothing from ourselves, and everything from Him. fa ilayka nashku da'fana. To Him we complain of our every weakness. and that is enough.
Hasbunallah wa ni'mal wakeel.

May whatever we read be a source of light ,"nur" for us.
Everything is from Him,and if He wills, will lead us back to Him. Insha Allah.

-Peace be with you always-

Fi lailateen minal layali

Di suatu malam dari malam-malamku
Aku tidak tahu apa yang menimpa diriku wahai tuhan
Kegelapan memenuhi diriku wahai Tuhan

Wahai Tuhan, Engkau selalu bersama-samaku
Tetapi aku jauh daripadaMu

Tiada penyelamat bagiku melainkan Engkau
Tiada penyelamat dan tiada penyelamat melainkan Engkau
Wahai Tuhanku.. Wahai Tuhanku...

Fly towards Eternity

In the dead of night, a Sufi began to weep.

He said, “This world is like a closed coffin, in which

We are shut and in which, through our ignorance,

We spend our lives in folly and desolation.

When Death comes to open the lid of the coffin,

Each one who has wings will fly off to Eternity,

But those without will remain locked in the coffin.

So, my friends, before the lid of this coffin is taken off,

Do all you can to become a bird of the Way to God;

Do all you can to develop your wings and your feathers.”

Farid ud Din Attar

What better time to train our wings in this blessed month of Ramadan, month for the nation of Muhammad(pbuh)

Oceans of Mercy

A'udhu billah hi minassyaitan nir rajeem,
Bismillah hir Rahman nir Raheem,
La hawla wala quwwata illa billah hil aliyyil azeem

Alhamdulillah, Ramadan is upon us. May Allah grant us with His Mercy Oceans in this blessed month. Somethings has to start somewhere,it has to start somehow. What better place than here, what better time than now.

As it begins, it will also end.But the "spirit" of Ramadan should be with us all the time.
O our Lord, leave us,leave our hearts to be with Ramadan.Bodily we might be going away from Ramadan, but let our souls be in those Mercy Oceans that You opened during Ramadan.

He is Allah; He gives.

As much as we may ask,it is nothing beside what You are giving us.Then You give to us,O our Lord.We do not know what to ask.

-Peace be to you-
